This PSA is designed as a heartfelt visual letter from a student to New Way Special School, expressing gratitude for the support and encouragement that has helped them grow. The video uses a handmade, childlike aesthetic, with hand-drawn, mixed-media illustrations and wobbly, crayon-like text, to reflect the way a child might create their own thank-you note. The imperfections in the handwriting and drawings are not just a reflection of a child’s natural expression but also of the muscle tightness and unsteady hand movements experienced by a child with cerebral palsy. These organic irregularities add authenticity to the message, reinforcing the themes of growth, resilience, and empowerment.
